Sarah Warren

I am an Assistant Professor of Art History at Purchase College.  My own research is in the Russian avant-garde and its relation to the politics of the late Russian Empire.  I also teach courses more broadly in modern and contemporary art.  My book on Mikhail Larionov and the Cultural Politics of Late Imperial Russia is forthcoming from Ashgate Press.  

My upcoming research will be on craft revivals, particularly the relations between craft and counter-culture in the postwar US.
